What is Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a mixture of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy. It combines the benefits of addressing underlying issues with a relaxing trance state. I specialise in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, which has the added benefit of focusing on the solutions to problems, instead of taking you back over the past, which enables people to get better quicker.
When in this state the subconscious mind accepts and acts on the positive and beneficial suggestions that enable the mind to focus on the changes you want to make, when the mind is relaxed it finds it easy to make the decisions needed to promote lasting change. As the client, all you need is the intention to change, enabling us to work together to bring about that change.
Trance is a state we enter every day, several times a day. It’s part of healthy brain activity. We experience it while driving, day dreaming, listening to music, reading a book, even watching TV!
